If you can't wait and want to see some of the stamps available, check my e-commerce site at http://alisonw.ismyangel.net click the products tab on the top and you will see some. Also, still available Discontinued items are in the left sidebar along with all your crafting needs.

Next, I also want to wish you all a Happy July 4th. I will be unable to craft since my baby girl, Alicia (23 year old) is going to be visiting us from California for a week. I can't wait to see her and her bff Megan. :)

I have a fun project I did with the plastic clamshell boxes that the Gift With Purchase stamps from TAC came in for a business booster? I can't think of what to call it without ruining the surprise. The photos are taken, I just have to get them on the blog. Watch for it, I think it's a Simply Cute idea!!

Lastly, I should be getting a new laptop this weekend so I don't have to use my daugther Melanie's, (10 year old). IF I can find a good deal I hope to get a new camera as well so I don't have to use my cell phone. haha... Everything breaks at the same time!

Cupcake craze...

Hello....I have been having fun creating birthday cards lately to replenish what I have on hand. Here are some of them using TAC supplies and some miscellaneous embellishments.

I have been having a fun time using the Liquid Applique on the icing of the cupcakes.

I love the way these came out using Cha Cha papers.

This next one is not a cupcake but an invitation card I made for my sister. The inside is stamped with the retired You're Invited TAC stamp set.

Happy Stamping until next time..!

Tutorial: Envelope Card holder

Warning: I am Still using my cell phone for photos. :) AND I have sat here for 30 minutes trying to line up my pictures and type evenly and have to resign, calling it done. :)

I want to share with you this quick and easy card holder. It's great to make for gifts to give a variety of cards in. Also, consider using something like this to create monogrammed cards and matching envelopes in for a gift.

I used all TAC™ products for this including Buttons and Blossoms Lemonade, Mimi SWIC, Butterfly Swirls Stamp set, Flower Bet alphabet set, Crystal Stickles, Palette Inks and Mimi Coordinating ribbon. Note: 5 x 7 Envelopes used non TAC.

Supplies you will need are 2@ 5 x 7 envelopes for this particular version. Mimi SWIC from TAC, Buttons and Blossoms Lemonade, alphabet stamp is Floral Bet, Crystal Stickles and the swirls from Butterfly Swirls. The picture to the left shows the envelopes and the simple prep. To prep your envelopes merely cut off one of the flaps, but not both.
You will insert the flap that remains inside the envelope that you cut the flap off of.
To adhere the envelopes together you will place your adhesive Behind the glue on your envelope flap that remains. Do not use the envelope adhesive !
This photo shows inserting the flap into the envelope that is flapless. It is pretty basic but just shows to remind you not to wetten the envelope adhesive but to place the adhesive behind it. When you insert the flap into the envelope it will create the binding for your envelope card folder.

Next, the envelopes are now adhered
with the adhesive you place on the flap and stuck it to the inside of the other envelope.
To create a closure, I am simply using ribbon around the closed folder.
Tip: You can get more detailed using eyelets or any kind of enclosure you like.

Here is the card with the ribbon attached and how I started to embellish the cover to hid the ribbon. To create a more finished look over the ribbon I placed a sheet of Mimi SWIC papers. ( My favorite)

This is an idea idea for a stack of cards and envelopes. I have created some really nice monogram card and envelope sets using this as the case to hold them in.

This is showing the inside with cards in the left and envelopes to the right. I did some simple stamping on the inside with coordinating Palette inks.

I love the effect the flowers give with the stickles. The letters are stamped and cut out then placed on the cover.

I hope you've enjoyed this simply stamped creation and instructional. It's pretty basic with limitless possibilities.

I have made Bunches of cupcake cards lately that I hope to be sharing later so check back soon...

Faux Corset idea....

Everything is Blooming is the set I've used here for this simply stamped card. I finally took a few minutes to create something different while I was making a few more graduations money cards that I needed. (see tutorial here) I used my favorite SWIC TAC paper line called Mimi although my cell phone photos are lacking the brilliant colors. I was inspired by a card I received for my birthday here using eyelets and ribbon to create a Faux Corset look on the side of the card. I added some Lemondade Buttons and Blossoms available from TAC with stickels as well.

I have cropped in here so you can see the details of the ribbon, blossoms and
buttons and the stickles. I used prisma
watercolor pencils and paper piecing to
color the image.

Question: Why can I no longer get my photos and words neatly placed on my blog? haha

Next, here are a few more simply stamped graduation money holders that I did for several family members that are graduating High School this year. As previously stated, you can see this tutorial for these cards under my tutorials.

Here is a close up of a cut out had that I popped dotted and strung a tassel through! I thought it added just a special something to the creations. The color of inks I've used match the school colors.

I hope these help inspire you with just a bit of added touches.
TIP: When your out shopping look at how you can use things differently as these tassels.
Until next time....Happy Stamping

Hey friends! I haven't had much time to craft lately with work, children's schedules and "life". I created these cards last week. I am still using my cell phone to take these pictures as I am saving for a new computer. Needless to say, I want a computer before a camera so I don't have to use my little girls anymore. She was funny one day with post it notes on her laptop saying "do not touch" and "melanie only". She was joking...... I hope.

This first card is for my father-in-law for Fathers Day. He loves trains so I stamped with TAC's train collage, cut it out and put it on pop dots on the original stamped image. The sentiment is from Trendy Greetings sentiment set.

This next card I used Uptown Girl papers and black cardstock. I love the way the new Buttons and Blossoms embellish the stickled and colored image from TAC's Dear Friend set.

Again, one day I will have time for the fun projects to get them posted with instructions. I hope you've enjoyed these simply stamped projects.

Storage Ideas...

If you've been following my blog and photos of my craft room posted here and there. You have seen many of my cube collection. I am glad I started my collection when they were new to the market. I've noticed over time that I initially would get them cheaper than they are now! I LOVE these for storage. I decided to take a picture of one section of the drawers to show how I store my ink refills, stickles, punches and ink spots. First, this is one section of my space next to my work table. (I purchased the country kitchen table for under $30 at a thrift store)

Below is what's in the drawers, the first how I store my many punches. I don't have a door to use an over the door shoe holder nor the wall space for towel racks. The drawers are perfect for me and easily accessible.

Below here is the top section that I use to store my ink refills, stickles, ink spots and smaller bottles. The little baskets were picked up for a 3 pack for just $1 to store my little things.

Happy Stamping!!!

I almost Forgot my Froggy

I almost forgot to post my simply stamped froggy! I haven't used my "google eyes" in sometime so I put this card together for a birthday I forgot. I used Primsawatercolor pencils with the tombow blender for it.
I hope you like this little card.
Question: How have you used google eyes?
Stamp set used is TAC of course...:)
