By request here is an envelope tutorial! One of the first paper craft things I learned really caught my eye. My upline Ginger showed me this and sent me a word tutorial she created. I Love to demonstrate it at FUNshops or whenever! There are other envelope tutorials out there and this is the version that I love done simply using a 8 x 8 sheet of paper. This is fabulous to make a coordinating card and envelope. Make a set for gifts or for Christmas cards.
TIP: Use designer scrap paper such as TAC's designer series collection and make a matching card!
The image above was sent by Jane for my SBS4 Secret Sister Image Swap!! We have so much fun in this group! I really enjoy my "sista's"! For the card I also used Watercolor Crayons, Stickles and Bling. Now for the envelope instructions:

Supplies Used for Envelope All TAC:
TAC Designer Series 8 X 8 (Winterberry)
Centering Ruler
Pencil or Pen for marking measurements
Adhesive for flaps
TAC's designer series is patterned on one side and white on the other.
Lay your pattern face down. Place your centering ruler diagonally over the paper and mark each corner at 5 5/8. Doing this, you can mark your 0-zero as center with a dot, hence using this affordable versatile Centering Ruler.
With your center marked at zero, measure out 1 1/4 inch and place dots at the 1 1/4". You will now have 3 dots on your paper.
When your 3 dots are marked, turn your paper sideways. Fold the bottom corner to the dot farthest from it and do the same with the top folding down to the farthest dot. See Next photo...
This shows folding of the corners to the dots furthest away from said corners. This will form your top and bottom of the envelope.
Next, turn paper again with dots horizontal and fold the remaining opposite corners to the center dot. These folds will form your sides.
Once all of your corners are folded, the picture to the left now shows where to place your adhesive forming the envelope. In the picture, the yellow strips represent where your adhesive will go. Last, you will fold up the bottom flap onto the adhesive forming your envelope.
Lastly, don't forget the matching card!!
TIP #2: Use the Centering Ruler from TAC ($2.50) is is great for all artwork and is flexible for those 3-D or rounded objects!!
