A Fairy Good Friend Belles n Whistles

Lots of time stamping lately creating some fun quick cards. This is an adorable stamp from Belles n Whistles called A fairy good Friend. Isn't she adorable. I colored this with copics and used vellum to have the wings pop off the card. Stickles are used on the dress of the fairy and flowers. I slapped on some glittery swirls for a finishing touch.

Some Odd Girl

Hey friends,something different today with my first Some Odd Girl Stamp! It's adorable and I love it! This card is for my daughters friends birthday.

First, it's been a long couple days here for us with the floods in NE Pennsylvania. My little town is next to West Pittston in the Wilkes-Barre area. Had they not built a dirt dyke the area would be flooded very bad. We are lucky but many friends are not. Since there isn't anywhere to go with the flooding, I stamped!

For this I also used Bazzil papers, copics, palette ink, memento ink, stickles, TAC patterned paper and a balloon punch. I'm putting this in the Some Odd Girl challenge. It required using stitching. I achieved this by using my scor buddy for evenly spaced spots to connect the dots to show faux stitching. I have to get a sewing machine for cards.

Besides using a scor pal for evenly spaced "spots" to connect for faux stitching you can use plastic canvas. See my tutorial for 3 great uses for the plastic canvas.

Simply Stamped Support the Girls

Above is my close up of my image paper pieced with stickles. ( I love stickles and glitter )

This is a set that was in the new TAC catty, Support The Girls. I had to get it! My twin sister was recently diagnosed with cancer. She underwent a mastectomy and just started her chemo. She is staged a 2 and we're very optimistic she'll beat this with all they do with Breat Cancer these days.

Above is the full card, I used Maggie papers again I love it and have many packs left to use!

Thanks to those who have sent cards for me for my sister, she loved them all.

Hello Little Butterfly

I ordered some Magnolia stamps in the early spring. I think they are too cute and finally used one. This one is called Hello Little Butterfly. I layered it on , you guessed it Maggie papers on top of vellum stamped with a butterfly image from TAC. I haven't gone to any Copic classes so I hope my coloring and shading is alright. I think it works..lol

Above is the full card. Yes, there are stickles on the butterfly on her shoulder. :)

I think this is really cute and simple.

Card making day, revisiting vellum

I have finally found some time to create after cleaning out my craft area. I've been using my TAC sets that I purchased from the new catalogue before TAC closed it's doors. My photos arean't very bright to show the Maggie papers. Above is a close up of the butterfly paper pieces from Fairy Wishes stamp set from Nina B.

Above is the full image. I stamped the large butterfly on vellum, stuck it to the cardfront with brads, then layered the butterfly, ribbon and stamped the saying.

The picture doesn't give the card it's justice. I think I'll be making several more of these since I like it.

Simple Birthday card and a Bear....

I created this simple little birthday card using TAC stamp set and some papers I got at my local scrap store. I forget the names of them...sorry. I like this little kitty holding the cupcake, it's stickled of course. I think it's paired nicely with the cupcakes on the paper.

Now, for the bear. I went to feed my sisters cats while she was out of town and noticed this bear when I walked in....scared me. She has another one mounted but this is a different one so my daughter had fun looking at it. I just thought it was a fun picture of my little girl Melanie to share.

Kraftin Kimmie meets TAC's Pop Rockz

I was looking through my TAC sets and came across the Laugh Lines saying set. After reading them, they inspired me to use this adorable Kraftin Kimmie stamp that I forget the name of. If you know post! I decided for the stickles to place on her bows. Now, Mr. Frog, Love him. I dug out some of my "google" eyes and glued them on ...too fun!

Below is the full card and an image of the Laugh Lines set. I just love the way the saying "Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment" goes with this image! It makes me laugh.

Kimmis is colored with copics and layered simply on Pop Rockz paper also from TAC. I believe it's discontinued now. Palette inks were used and some simple glittered swirl to even out the card. What do you think?

Wonder and Joy...A card a day sketch

Weekly this month on the TAC Savvy Projects blog, there will be a different sketch weekly to play along with using TAC stamps and products with a guest designer featured, Debra Miller today. Very cool! I decided to play along with my Wonder and Joy set that I just adore.

All items are from TAC except the glitter paper. I used Mimi papers and Bazzill cardstock. The sentiment is another good one from TAC Savvy Sayings set. It is Very versatile. I used stickles on her bows after coloring with copics. On her shirt I used some Liquid Pearls to give it a wrinkled look.

Emma and Magnolia

Emma exluxive patterned papers were used from TAC™ on this card. This is the only image of Magnolia's that I have. ( I know can you imagine just one?) I added the florals to her apron to hide the eggs since Easter is now over. That doesn't mean I can't still have fun with this image.

I colored with copics, used a MS punch and various florals with bling on this card. I like it, what do you think?

Raindrops keep falling on her head....

...on this card. I used my favorite TAC™ stamp set Oh No She Didn't for this one colored with copic markers. Different shades of blue cardstock is layers for a simple look. I saw these raindrop stickers and thought they were perfect to add to a card. I normally don't use stickers but these glimmering blue ones were a perfect addition to this image! Don't you think?

Here is a simple layered card using the pretty Peace Be Still image from TAC™. I tried diamond glaze on the image after coloring with copics. It looks better in real life but I am not totally thrilled with the end result..:)

I love this set for quick cards. I think it is perfect to make a pretty card without all the fuss! I've used a MS butterfly punch with Vellum and stickles on the butterflies. Stickles were also used on the tagged vines with this TAC stamp set.

Black and White

Here is my take on a simple black and white card. I simply layered white cardstock with the MS border punch, added ribbon and flowers with a Thinking of You Sentiment. I like the simplicity of this one. I did this for TAC Savvy Projects blog hop Black and White with a splash of color, I just forgot a splash of color..:) Be sure to play along!

Magnolia Mimi!

I am thrilled I had time to create some fun cards this weekend. I go back to work tomorrow more tired than when I left. I really miss being a SAHM and more involved with things. We still haven't had time to sort the house we purchased over a year ago with our schedules. One day we will, after all we're here forever! Until the time comes when I can create more, enjoy my simply stamped projects until I have time for the fun tutorials I use to do. I've created a tutorial page that is under construction (in tabs above) if you want to view some of my earlier creations.

Here again, I used more scraps of my Mimi papers from TAC™. I dug out this Magnolia image that is just adorable with the Easter Eggs in her apron. It was fun to color and I used glitter on the eggs with Diamond Glaze. Copics were used for coloring on this pretty image.

For this Easter card I used the Tail Feathers set from TAC. I wanted to use lots of color with this one. It's simple layers with embellishments for some fun. My sparkle is stickles within the beaks of the chicks and the flourished bling. I hope you like it.

I'm not totally thrilled with this card for the Masculine take. I do like this stamp set Good Things. This is a simple card and I used a dirt look with the truck driving on it. I have a hard time with manly cards since I love using glitter and flowers.

I used TAC products and other embellishments. I love this paper! I decided to use Wonder and Joy stamp set from TAC coodinated with Maggie papers (exclusive to TAC). I used Running Stitches stamp set, marvy punches, some MS punches for the leaves, a button, MM brads and flowers! I colored with my copics and used a paper doiley within the layers. Inside I've layerd white paper and used more stamped stiches with the saying "Hoping your day... is something to smile about. " My sparkle? I always love stickles but notice the leaves, glittered paper I have to have glitter.

Lumpy Bumpy.... Oh No She Didn't

I just love this stamp set (as you know) lumpy bumpy embellishments and glitter. This card has a bit of all of it. I used The Angel Company's OH No She Didn't Stamp set and TAC Maggie papers. I am still practicing with my copics but on this I mainly did paper piecing for the stamped image. Here is the close up of some of my favorite parts.

I love these flowers! I added stickles on them of course to add some shine. The side is lined with glittered chipboard. I paper pieced the boots, jacket and umbrella. Stickles were added to the umbrella.

Above is the whole card. I like this one. I used all the things I enjoy using with my favorite set. The inside I've used the sizzix corners like the upper right one on white paper with the "I can't believe I forgot your birthday" sentiment. I forgot to load the picture to the computer..haha.

Pretty Pink Birthday...

I was determined to make a card today after having no time for a few weeks. I am running short on birthday cards and this is what I came up with using TAC's Maggie papers and a TAC sentiment. I decided to layer it using a MS lace punch, real lace, ribbon and of course some shiny bling.

The above close up shows the details. I used a MS butterfly punch first with the cardstock and then with vellum. It's lifted a bit to look like it's flying.

Here is the full card. The colors are again muted from my photo skills but they are very vibrant and pink in real life. I hope you enjoy this.

Good Things for Dad

The more I play with this set the more I like it. I think it's a touching image and perfect for a Dad, or in this case my Father in Law since my dad passed away many years ago. :) I used Good Things stamp set again (which is the March special!) Reese papers were used layered on the cardbase. I just love these little hardware pieces that I added. I've had them for some time and thought this is a perfect use for them.

Here you can see the full image of the card. It's quite simple. I colored with my copics, cut out and placed on the lightly sponged white layer. I did edge the image a bit with a dark grey to show more without blending too much into the background.

Here is another card colored with copics. I've been trying to practice my coloring since I spent a small fortune on the markers..lol. I used stamps from Good things to color since there is open space to use. I cut out the people and put them on pop dots for dimension.

Below is the full card. I did some stipling for the grass and sky, using copics only on the images (people and tree).

I love quick and simple with my limited time and this card totally reflects what you can create in a few minutes!

I used part of Happily Grateful for these simple cards. I decided to stay monochromatic. I also used Fiskars border punch and a bit of ribbon to finish these.

Purple Rain..

Not from Prince but this card reminds me of Purple Rain. :) I had a relaxing day crafting this past weekend and scheduled posts of my creations. I miss making cards as frequently as I use to. This first is a close up of my copic colored girl. I used stickles on the umbrella, white gel pen for freckles, ribbon and some awsome florals.

The full card below shows the beautiful paper from TAC called Maggie. I love anything purple and this sheet works great.

Here is a kitty for my friends. I used TAC's new paper line and stamps. I love these papers! The colors are just gorgeous. I used marvy punches with white gel pen for accents. I also cut the kitty out and added pop dots after coloring with copics for some depth.

I like the beads added for some texture to the card and stamped using the best Running Stitches from TAC as well. (If you would like any of these products let me know, I still sell them..lol)

In the above picture you can see how the cat just pops off the page. I like this card... your thoughts?

More Valentines...

I tried to creat some flater stamping here. I used versamark for the circles and Staz On white for the flourishes with some bling on them. The simple sentiment was added to finish the card on top.

The same were used for this next card with some ribbon added to it. I am the worst at bows..lol.

I like the black with the red, what do you think?

Quickie Valentines

I was able to make a few more quick simply stamped Valentines. I am not crazy about them but here you go. I used all TAC stamp sets. I used my cuttlebug folders with a simple sentiment and flowers. My "bling" inside the flowers are hearts but it's hard to see.

Springtime Garden for Easter

I Love these new papers from TAC called Maggie and thought they would be ideal for Easter. I used Springtime Garden stamp set and an older sentiment saying Happy Easter for this simple card. I colored with my Copics. I used the Scor Buddy and plastic canvas for the dots on the cardstock. (Note: for other uses of plastic canvas see my older post under my tutorials Three Great uses for Plastic Canvas)

I've come to the conclusion I really need a new camera. My photos are very muted. I could scan the cards but that is so time consuming.

Need coloring practice...

I used TAC's "Just a Cat" funny stamp set for these basic cards. I was trying to play with my copic markers. It's hard to see with my bad photo. The first one I colored and tried to create a background using the markers. The secone, I didn't like the first so I decided to sponge inks on it instead.

I love these markers and really have to practice more...

This second one's color is better in the photo, more accurate. I stamped the sentiment "cat's don't have a middle finger" on the inside. Yes, a bit different than the normal. You can view this whole stamp set below.

Thanks for stopping by while I have made some time to stamp these days. Hopefully, I will have time to make some more tutorials and projects with more detail. :)

More Froggies...

This set is growing on me Frogs n Kisses (image below) as I am trying to create some Valentine's Day cards. (see older posts for Valentines here. Check out my pop up heart one.) I used a cuttlebug folder with the hearts and simply stamped and colored the frogs layering them on Marvy punched papers. Of course, I used stickles and flowers. I used scrappers floss to attach the button then finished it with a bit of swirl.

I love using the cuttlebug folders and have tons of them. I have a previous post "somewhere" that I show how I keep track of which ones I have. Basically, since I can't locate the post, I made a sample of each that is card sized and used my bind it all to create a book. How fun, right? This makes it easy to browse through my little book to find one to use. Simply easy!

....these two look like! As I was making this simply stamped card I was thinking to make it resemble two of my friends, Karen and Tammy. (I miss you and everyone down in Virginia Beach)

I went back to basics here with some paper piecing using again, EMMA papers from The Angel Company™!

The image is also from the Level C set Thinking Sweet Thoughts. My photos are so dark the colors don't show very well, but I hope you still like the simply stamped basic card.

One Layer Wonder

I did this card for a One Layer Wonder challenge over at The Angel Company™ Paper Crafting Community. Anyone can be a member with the only key thing is to use TAC stamps!

This is a simply sponged background with Palette inks then stamped with a tree from Love and Laughter. As noted with the challenge, it's a one layer card. How fun!

Thinking Sweet Thoughts...

This simply stamped card's image is from one of the Level C Hostess Sets called Thinking Sweet Thoughts. If you follow my blog you know I Love flowers and bling on my cards. I really think it adds something special to them. The patterned paper is Emma from TAC. Love it and my picture does not do the colors justice.

I find this image adorable with the little girl holding the puppy. A bit of sparkle was added to her dress and flowers, of course. :)

A few Simply Stamped cards...

It seems like it's been forever since I've actually made a card. I finally did some straightening with my stamps. While I am still not finished, I did take a break to make a few quick cards. I keep stocking up on product with little time to create these days. I plan on making at least one card a day while I am organized to relax after work. (See note at the bottom on The Angel Company digi images!)

Enjoy these simply stamped cards for now...

I used TAC's stamp of the month "Frog & Kisses" set, Lily Anna papers, stickles and dimensional glaze. I colored using my Copic markers.

The above is a closer look at the smaller card with a sentiment inside for Valentines Day.

You can tell I am no photographer with my blury image. ...haha. I put dimensional glaze on the hearts for some pop. It looks much better in real life.

Beary Sweet Challenge

Hello my friends! I have not posted a card since June and have lost my mojo! I tried to sit today to make a card with a vintage look for my local scrap stores challenge. The Beary Scrap's Beary Sweet Challenge #10 I think the paper adds a vintage look, slightly crumpled and flattened and I've used distressing ink for affect. What do you think?

SNEAK PEEK Fly Fairy

When I first saw this set I fell in Love with it. I thought it would be perfect for a transparency technique. If your not new to my blog you know I love using transparencies. I stamp with Staz On and then add glitter for some bling. This is simply layered and the background is also from the NEW Fly Fairy set.This is also a sneak peek of an upcoming set being released in July!

Below is the full card, I though placing the layered fairy a bit askew looked nice with the straight stamped background.

I added florals available from TAC for the last touch. I always like flowers and shine on the cards to add some pop and dimension! All cardstocks are available from TAC.

Above is a close up of the attached squirrel with Fun Flock and Stickles. The picture isn't a very good one. This is from another new set called Give Praise to Him. It's a pretty set with a few critters, blessing sentiments, a tree and a butterfly. I really enjoy it's realistic look! Below, is my full card that I created. I added some little touches with crinkled paper ribbon and a brad. I sponged a bit on the tree to add some different shadings. It looks really nice in person.

Here is card number two of Oh No She Didn't coming up soon. The close up shows my copic coloring that is coming along and a few stickles on the flower.

The sentiment is from a NEW set called "I love you" watch for it coming soon.

Lastly is the inside of the card.I used the Butterfly from Happily Grateful and another sentiment from the I Love You set.

This simply stamped card is created using the upcoming " Oh No She Didn't " stamp set that is not yet available but will be from The Angel Company™. This is an awsome set, wait til you see the rest. I created the background with sponging for the grey clouds and color dusters for the ground. The girl is colored with copics and of course, some stickles are on the umbrella!

I love this simply stamped card. I used part of the set for the background to create a custom background. The butterfly was stamped and colored with copics with the sentiment in the marvy punches. I also used some stickles around the ovals for my usual bling.

Simply Stamped Hello Baby

Ahhh...this is such a sweet little set from TAC called Hello Baby used in conjunction with Toodle Loo papers. I like the close up above showing the colors more vibrant than below. I used White Glaze Gelly Pens on the diaper that doesn't show well in the picture but it looks nice in real life.

Again, I hope you like this simply stamped card. It is all I seem to have time for these days with my hechtic schedule. I love elaborate cards as well but I like to put more thought into them. These simply stamped ones are a great break from the day and have a start, finish and end! One of the reason I love simply stamped!

Colorful Fun Birthday...

Pretty Cupcake cuties fun...

This is a simply stamped fun colorful card. I was using scraps of some retired TAC cardstock while I had a few minutes to create something. I've lost my mojo since all my last posts. I used my cuttlebug folder as well since I can't get my Nestability ones to work quite right. My copics were used as well, I like how the cupcake came out with the hews of pinks.

The full card shows my spectrum of colors...lol. It's nice and cheery though don't you think? As usual, I had to add some stickles. I love the little touch they add!!

The set I've used is Cupcake Cuties from TAC shown below. Only 11.95 for the whole set.

I've been told my feeds through e-mail aren't coming out without overlapping. I'm working on fixing this the best I can without understanding the options very well.

Last Image of Wonder and Joy

This is another close up from the last image from the Wonder and Joy set. I tried to make a brick wall with my markers but not quite sure if I like it or not? I should have done a faux brick wall, maybe on the next one?

You can see in the close up below I've used my scor-bug along the side of my cardstock for some affect. I used paper from Pop Rockz again and stamped the sentiment from Savvy Sayings.

Purple Overkill?

Here is a close up of this Wonder and Joy creation. Is it purple overkill?

I made this monochromatic as you will see and paper pieced the dress on this image. I did a little embellishment in the corner using plastic canvas. (See this older post for other ways to add touches to your cards and scrap pages here) Other items used are Bazzill purples, TAC Pop Rockz SWIC papers, prima flower, ribbon and Copics for skintone. The stickles for the middle of the stress belt part did not come out very well but it sparkles. :)

Another Simply Stamped Wonder

Isn't she just adorable? I enjoyed this card since I love purple. For this one, I just did a simple layer and colored using a combination of watercolor crayons and watercolor pencils from TAC. Yes, copics are used for the fleshtones. If you don't have any copics, I would Highly suggest to purchase the flesh tones if any! The stamp is also from Wonder and Joy. Of course, I've used stickles as well.

The sentiment is from Savvy Sayings another of my all time favorites currently available.

Now, although I normally use all TAC products I love the flowers I picked up and used on this card. I got them from The Beary Scrap, my local scrap store.

Wonder and Joy's Gone Fishin'

Here are a few more simply stamped samples using this months stamp of the month Wonder and Joy. I decided to keep them simple for boys using just a bit of bling.

I used copics for coloring and then sponged the background on the top one. The bottom one I did some light dirty stamping around the edges of the white.

I think this set is one of my favorite all time TAC sets. I just love the images and the sayings that come with it.

Up Up and Away .....

Ahhh, I'm just having fun coloring these adorable images from TAC's Wonder and Joy set. I also used TAC exclusive papers from SWIC Pop Rockz. Be sure to look at this complete set in my previous post, I like this card better. I've been doing some basic stamping inside of my cards by simply layering my papers and using TAC's Running Stitches stamp set to resemble stitching.

I like this one better than the previous one. I am trying to get my creative mojo back before heading back to work for the week. :)

What do you think?? Isn't this set just the best?

Wonder and Joy Simply Stamping...

Taking some time to play with TAC's Wonder and Joy set. It's this months stamp of the month!! I am still playing around with my copics to learn to color more. I used some retired TAC papers and my micron pen to add some freckles on this one.

Above is my full card, I am not sure about it? I used my balloon mini punch to add something to it? Thoughts?

An Udder Simply Stamped Birthday

Hello friends...

Here is a simply stamped card I did using An Udder Birthday pictured below.

I used just simple layering on top of the cuttlebug embossed cardstock for this card. On the cow I added dimensionals on the bathing suit, gel pens and stickles of course.

Hello Dear Friends,

Here is a close up of my simply stamped quick card for the day. My husband got me a few new punches for Mothers Day from Martha Stewart Butterflies. I layered them with coordinating colors for some pop. I simply stamped, colored and added stickles to my images from TAC's Dear Friend set available in the Serendipity supplement and online. The designer paper is from TAC's Lily Anna SWIC and bazzill greens.

Here is the completed card above, just another simply stamped quickie card. These are great for simple layers when you have only a few minutes to create. Also, the set used is below again from TAC available on my secure shopping site Dear Friend for 8.95 ( plus s/h and tax)

Happy Mothers Day

I just wanted to say Happy Mothers Day. I'm very blessed to have three fabulous children. I couldn't imagine a life without them even through the trying moments of their lives!!

Update: I just received my sneak peek sets for the next base book coming out in July for TAC! I LOVE THEM ALL. I hope to play with them soon although I can't share any pictures yet, they're a secret! If you want the new one when it comes out let me know!

Simply Stamped Sympathy

I decided to make some sympathy cards and thought simple ones would be best. It's so hard to come up with sympathy ones. I did the first one just using monochromatic and the simple saying from TAC's set.

The next using just greens and aged ornamentals from TAC with the Savvy Sayings! The black flowers are from Elizabeth Blossoms and Blooms.

Simply Stamped Springtime Garden

Although my paper used is not TAC it's a glitter stack and just so colorful. I stamped this one using Springtime Garden from TAC and the sentiment again, Savvy Sayings. (see upcoming post for photo of complete set)

I haven't had much time to stamp so I've gone to my simple stamping to get some cards done versus ones with more details.

Above is a close up of my take on the stick pin craze.

Now, this card is made using TAC's retired Carousel Horse stamp set. It was one of my first and favorite sets since I collected carousels. (I've since stopped..lol..now I collect stamps!)
I like the look of this pearl lace and the flower but is it purple overload?

A Quickie Card

I had an extra 10 minutes today and had to make something! I am going through craft withdrawals! I saw this cloud technique on Barb's blog a few weeks ago and had to try it. I Love Barbs creations as a TAC demonstrator. Now, keep in mind I only had a few minutes so this is a very plain card but the cloud technique was fun to try. Be sure to check Barb's and the other Angelhood bloggers blogs for projects made using TAC stamps!
I stamped with Anchor to the Soul from TAC, check out the full set by clicking the name. I attempted to color quickly with my Copic Ciao markers. The clouds were made by simply cutting a piece of paper rounded like clouds and then sponging.

Close up of my simply stamped Happy Birthday cupcake card using my copics for the first time. I think I need practice and the photo doesn't help..lol. I made this and another birthday card simply using the Cupcake Cuties from TAC.(only 11.95 for a fab set) I just added some florals and stickles for some pop on the card. Since the card is simply stamped, I think adding some embellishments and bling always make a simple card pop. Tomorrow, I'll show you my other version of this card. I think I'm going to need copic lessons for larger areas.... :) I have noticed with them new they are very "wet" so less is more. :)

White Wedding...

I am trying to make some time to do some new projects and tutorials. So many fun things to show you! Until I can, I will share some cards I am making.

What a white wedding for this one. I decided to use some of my cuttlebug folders today. I thought this particular one looked like lace to enhance the brid. So...I paper pieced the bottom of the wedding dress and added some simple squares punched down the side. The sentiment was simply stamped and the bride colored slightly with prismacolor watercolor pencils, stickled and glittered with beads added for some punch.

Simply Stamped Get Well Soon...

I needed to make a Get Well Soon card for a friend. I decided to keep to my simply stamped concept for this one. I used TAC's Savvy Sayings and florals from another set I forget the name of. :) The flowers are colored with my Tombow and covered with stickles. As you've noticed the Savvy Sayings in my favorite sentiment set lately. I did simple layering over ribbon with this one and the Fiskares border punch with gold twine through. The inside is layered with white cardstock and florals stamped on it as well. Don't forget the inside!!
The photo doesn't show the pretty colors or sparkles very well.

Another simply stamped version of a card using Savvy Sayings and the retired Mulberry Meadow from TAC. I used more scraps on this card but instead of layering with the Fiskars punch I used some tags that were with the paper kit. A simply ribbon and some bling were added for some pop and "lumpy bumpy". :)

Designer Series Leftover Card

Hello....this simply stamped card is using TAC products again and the New sets from Serendipity Springtime Garden and Savy Sayings. I went for a monochromatic look with leftover and retired TAC cardstock and papers. I used the Tombow White Gel pen to draw the dots for the flourished swirls. The Gel Pen is a must for all crafters to add affects to your cards. Stickles, marvy punches and tombow markers were also use available from TAC.

Layered Ribbon Card in a Flash

I decided to play with some ribbons and such with this card to create a clean looking card. This was fun just layering the ribbons and using my scor bug and scor-pal to create the lines as well. I simply punched the rectangles with my marvy punches and stamped using Savy Sayings from TAC to create a quick simple card. Lastly, I added the buttons to balance it. No this isn't something very fancy but if you need a card in a flash try this for a quick yet cute card.

I took a few minutes to make a card for a friend using TAC's Cupcake Cuties stamp set and TAC Classic Pop Rockz paper collection. Also, Bazzill Bitty Blossoms and stickles on the cupcake! I tried to do some basic layering and used my Marvy punches for this one. Still, I can't seem to get my desired results. I did just get copics but this is colored with watercolor crayons. The saying is using TAC's Savy Sayings which is also a new one.

I hope you like this little card. I just still can't seem to be pleased with my finished projects but getting closer..haha..

Nestabilities Storage Tehcnique and missing mojo?!!

Remember me? I am trying to get back into the swing of crafting since our move. My craft space is not as organized as I would like and smaller. I sat to create today and just lost my mojo, my cards didn't come out as planned. I hope after I get my NEW Copics from The Angel Company™ today and new stamps I can create! Here are some of my not quite right cards for the day. They did not turn out how I wanted them to .... and below my Nestabilities Storage technique that I use!

Above just a quick monochromatic card using TAC's Little Cupcake set. I simply used a button for the lollipop, Designer paper is used and no stickles, can you believe that?? Below is a second attempt at something using the same items and my Labels 1 nestie. Again, a simply stamped card I just can't get excited about. Beware of the last one, the photo is bright!
I used some scrap papers from Michael's and my TAC stamp set. Again, this just scared me when it was done. You can see the look I was going for I just think the papers threw it off

where I didn't achieve the required results. HELP, Help me get my Mojo back! :) I think I will never take this much time off from stamping again! Now lastly, when TAC started carrying the Nestabilities in the newest Serendipity issue I had already had a few. My upline, Ginger, asked how I store mine so I thought I'd share that with you.

My Nestie Storage tehcnique: I simply put a magnetic strip in an empty CD case. I get a roll of magnetic strip from the craft store. It has adhesive on one side (used for making magnets). I remove the backing after cutting the magnet to size, adhere it in my empty CD case and place the Nestabilities on the magnet. Viola...they don't move or get lost!

Christmas Wreaths

I like the simplicity of this one for some reason. I think it's the stickles on the wreath. These cards took a few minutes to make. I used an older TAC stamp set called Mini Wreath. I find it perfect for little areas. BG papers were used as well and some kind of gold things I found...haha. I don't know what they are but the look nice in real life with the sparkles.
Again, another simply stamped wreath.

This is a blury close up of this card. I was trying to show the stickles sparkling on the little snowflakes of the card below. Again,used are more of the Basic Grey papers, snowflake punch, TAC stamps, sizzix snowflake die and Marth Border punch. Similar to the last post I used the TAC Christmas fun set. Lots of snowflakes are placed around this card using a lighter BG patterend paper. I decided to use some little tree and star punches as well for some dimension. Stickles are used on the antlers and I adore these little bows I picked up at the Beary Scrap.

Above is the close up, it seems to be what I do first..lol. This stamp is from TAC's older Christmas Fun set. It's a fabulous and versatile set. The close up shows my hand drawn stitches on my labe shape. I lightly colored with pencils and added some stickles to the nose. I adorned the card with some prima and used Basic Grey again to compliment the card.
Marvy punches with a TAC Merry Christmas sentiment were used.

Stamps used here are Perky Penguins again and Ready Set Snow, DCWV papers. The sentiment was stamped with Palette inks along withh the perky penguin stamped on the die cut nestie shap. I stickled, of course to highlight the penguin and the torn edge paper for a snow look.

I'm a stamping fool lately trying to whip out all my cards at the last minutes so I don't have to use old leftover ones..haha. This Perky Penguin was stamped on my layered Basic Grey papers. I also used Label 1 nesties (nestabilities yeah!) I love the faux stitches using TAC's Running Stitches stamp set. I don't sew on my cards...yet, so they are fabulous, affordable and not time consuming. I've colored with Prisma Watercolor pencils blended with tombow blener and of course Stickles are add for some sparkle with a pearl in the hat. I am really loving these BG paper packs that I got for all of my latest cards. They really compliment my TAC stamps. Here I've used a retired TAC set called Bunch of Flakes. The scarf is simply paper pieced with layers of coordinating paper and snowflake punches and brads. For the snowflake border I used a Martha punch. As usual, I've done some shadowing with a Tombow grey marker.

Avoe I've used more of that BG papers along with some simple layering, stickles and bling to create a fun little Christmas card using TAC's Welcome Home set again. (whew...long winded there) A bit of stickles again on the roof tops and Marvy punches were used. Below you can see the full version of my simply stamped creation..

A blast from the past with this TAC set. Make It Merry! I had a request to make a card for a little girl that loves Bratz and although this set is not Bratz it is similar. I used FLora Doodles flowers that I picked up at the Beary Scrap store (blog here) and my prisma watercolor pencils for this card. Stickles of course are added for some shine.

Simply stamped ornamental cards. I used a bit of pop dots under the stickled ornament above. Again, I've used TAC stamp sets and some of the paper is a retired pack of TAC's SWIC paper collections and fiskars border punch. The lower card is using some older DCWV stack paper.I added a bow for a little added pop to the card. Excuse the photos...I'm a card maker not a photographer...haha.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Above is a sample of a simple little Thanksgiving note card with matching envelope. I was inspired by this when a friend Sharon sent me a sample so I recreated it and sent it out for Thanksgiving. I may also use a version of this for place card holders at the table. I used TAC's GIVE THANKS stamp set, marvy punches, the scor bug with my scor pal to create the embossed stitch look. Yes, stickles of course on the red...haha. Enjoy and have a Happy Blessed holiday.

Above I've used my Nesties Labels 1 I just finally picked up from the Beary Scrap scrapbook store. It is a local store I just found. You have to check out her store or blog for her FABULOUS mulberry bears!! All I can say is....wow.... Love them! She even has a custom template for them. That is next on my wish list.

Now the above card is simply stamped using TAC's Joy of Christmas set and Welcome home.

Below....is a reject. My idea worked of embossing these trees with TAC's Good Timber set onto transparency and it has a fabulous effect, but I totally lost my creative mojo when trying to create with them.

What a busy month and with the holidays it will be even worse! I am taking the day to make my Christmas cards. I send out to family, friends, online friends, my SBS4 sister group, Angelhood bloggers, etc. etc If I don't get started I'll have to lower my list but I love and keep each hand made card I receive. I'll be posting some of the cards I'm creating for you to see. This first one is from one of my newest finds using Basic Grey and of course my Angel company stamps!! I saw this paper and had to get it to use with TAC's Welcome Home set. (Only $8.95 for the set mini picture below)

I love the BG paper for this stamp set. I simply layered the papers, did some snow flakes with a punch and added them to the bottom. Next, I stamped my sentiment, layered it added a snowflake brad and created faux stitches using Tombow White Gel Pen.
Lastly, Stickles are added to the roofs of the houses for snowy shine.

I can't believe I actually managed to get some posts up for a week straight. I have a few more cards I need to upload and post as well. I will be busy for a bit and hope to get some more free craft time soon for a tutorial and projects!! I do have to get Christmas cards done soon with my never ending list. It always seems to grow with my blog lists, family and friends. I LOVE sending and receiving Christmas cards and have never thrown any handmade ones away as they are treasures.
